If the tanker is installed indoors, it is easy to cause an explosion. And fire accidents. Therefore, the fuel dispenser must not be installed indoors.
The technical conditions that the fueling gun should meet:
The refueling gun should be a self-sealing refueling gun to prevent the fuel tank from leaking, prevent spillage, and avoid waste and fire accidents.
Since the caliber of the current fueling gun is generally 19mm, when the flow rate is 60L/min, the flow velocity in the pipe has reached 3.54m/s, which is close to the limit flow rate. And the faster the flow velocity, the more oil foam will be generated in the fuel tank, and the fuel tank is often left behind. If it is not filled up, the oil foam will overflow the fuel tank; at the same time, the greater the flow, the scope of the explosion hazard area of the tanker will correspondingly expand. Therefore, the flow rate of the self-sealing gasoline nozzle should not exceed 50L/min.
In order to facilitate the identification and prevent the wrong operation of the fueling gun with multiple fuels, when a fuel dispenser with multiple fuels is used, the gun position on the fueling machine should be marked with the text of each fuel, and the fueling gun should be marked with a color. .
Technical requirements for fueling pipes:
It should be equipped with a submersible pump and one pump for the refueling process of multiple machines (guns). Compared with the self-priming tanker, this process has positive pressure to discharge oil from the oil tank, low refueling noise, simple process, and is usually not restricted by conditions such as low tank position and long pipeline. Therefore, the oil tank should be equipped with this refueling process.
When using a self-priming tanker, each tanker should be equipped with a separate oil inlet pipe and tank bottom valve to ensure the refueling conditions. This is because several fuel dispensers share an oil inlet pipe (that is, the oil outlet pipe of the oil tank) connected to the oil tank, which will cause mutual influence and uneven flow. When a fuel dispenser stops pumping, there is still the possibility of pumping air, which affects the accuracy of metering, and even the phenomenon of cut-off occurs.
The line of the fuel dispenser must be isolated from the fuel pipe to prevent the fuel dispenser from exploding due to external force pulling the fuel pipe; or the fuel leaking in the Fuel dispenser manufacturer, the line is not tightly sealed and sparks may cause the fuel dispenser to catch fire or explode.
Protective measures for fuel dispensers:
A safety pull-off valve should be provided on the refueling hose. A shear valve should be installed on the bottom oil supply pipeline of a fuel dispenser that supplies oil with positive pressure (submersible pump), and the shear valve should be able to close automatically. In order to prevent the fire from spreading, the oil circuit can be cut off urgently when the tanker is hit or caught on fire.
